MADISON — Janet Quirk, age 82, of Madison, passed away Friday, March 22, 2013, at her home.
Janet was born in North Madison on April 9, 1930.
She was the owner and manager of Pepperridge Tree Golf Course in North Madison from where she retired in 2000.
Janet was an avid bird watcher and arborist. She was a member of the National Honor Society, a fantastic cook, had been very active in sports in her youth and loved her pet dogs. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
Survivors include her daughters, Patricia (Charles) Landphair of Geneva and their children, Joni and Amy and Kathleen A. (Barry) Densmore of North Madison and their children, Clay and Ty; sons, James T. (Angie) Quirk of Madison and their children, John and Jenny and Jeffrey L. Quirk (Christine Vanek) and their son, Jason Quirk of North Madison and Gregory S. (Jill) Quirk of Ashtabula and their children, Katie and Becca; brother, Norman Nichols of North Madison; and a sister, Norma Quirk of Oceanside, Calif.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Thomas Quirk.
Graveside Services will be held 1 p.m., Thursday, March 28th, at North Madison Cemetery.
