DAYTON — Peggy L. Peterson-Bynum, age 63, of the Dayton, Ohio area, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2014.
She was born in Ashtabula, Ohio, on Aug. 11, 1950, as the second child to the late Frederick and Frances Jean (Lytle) Peterson.
Peggy attended Ashtabula Harbor and Jefferson High Schools. She belonged to the First Christian Church and enjoyed drawing, painting, crafts and traveling whenever she could. Throughout her life, she lived in several states working in sales, advertising and as a bookkeeper. Peggy was an active part of her family and loved to cook for everyone.
She is survived by two aunts, Betty Corlew and Peggy McNatt, both from Jefferson, Ohio; five siblings, Barbara (Paul) Petro of Westville, Ind., Linda (Thomas) Robinett of Longwood, Fla., Frederick L. Peterson Jr. of Yellow Springs, Ohio, Timothy J. (Nancy Laurence) of Hinckley, Ohio and Jodi (Michael) Peterson-Sonstein of Columbus, Ohio; four nieces, Melissa (Spencer Hill) Petro, Brandi Wilmot, Mackenzie Peterson and Claudia Peterson-McAllister; six nephews, Paul (Stacey) Petro, Brent (Michele) Wilmot, Russell (Jessica) Robinett, Joshua Peterson, Dane Peterson and Lex Peterson. She also had many great-nieces and great-nephews.
Private services were held with her family and friends surrounding her. She was cremated after the services.
We will miss Peggy with all our hearts, and we wish her the best in the next chapter of her journey.
