ROME — James G. Link, age 76, died peacefully at his home on Monday, Feb. 18, 2013, with his family by his side.

James lived in Rome for the last 29 years. He was the son of George and Ruth Link of Cleveland, Ohio. James was married to Bobbie Link on August 22,1986.

A Veteran, he served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He retired from Andover Industries after 45 years.

He loves spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a life-long Cleveland Browns fan, loved to go fishing and spend time in the outdoors. He was a member of the Eagles Club in Andover.

He is survived by his wife; six children, Sonya (Glenn) Call of Jamestown, Pa., Fred Egan (Barbra Prock) of Niota, Tenn., Sherri (George) Krupa of Andover, Ohio, Sandra (Richard) Smith of Madisonville, Tenn., Angelia (Dennis) McCallister of Andover, Ohio, and Tanise Link of Andover, Ohio; and sister, Ruth Frances of Cleveland, Ohio; grandchildren, Jessica (John) Krawsczyn, Shani (James) Roberson, Glenn Call and Diane Carlson, Ricky (Bailey) Smith, Cassandra (Kellen) Kerekes, Etya, Samantha and Salina Krupa, Clayton and James McCallister, Caitlin Easton, John and Tanisha Adams and Josh Prock; 15 great-grandchildren, Brianna, Jonathan, Blake, Jessalynn Krawsczyn, Keona, Waylon and Baby Smith, Kellen and Baby Kerekes, Tyler, Kaleb, Caiden and Baby Roberson, Haylee Call and Cheyanne Carlson; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and six brothers, Gary Link, Raymond Link, George Link, Howard Link, Leroy Link and Norman Link.

He is loved very much and will forever be in our hearts.....

A Funeral Service officiated by Pastor Richard Meier will be held 10 a.m. at the PAINE-GUERRIERO FUNERAL HOME, 140 E. Main St., Orwell, Ohio 44076, on Friday, Feb. 22nd. Burial will take place at the Rome Center Cemetery with U.S. Army Military Honors.

Visitation will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Funeral Home on Thursday, Feb. 21st.
