KINGSVILLE — Joann V. Salviano, age 73, of Ashtabula, Ohio, went to be home with the Lord on Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2013, at the Ashtabula County Nursing Home in Kingsville, Ohio.
Born in Ashtabula, on Nov. 10, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Garland L. and Blanche V. (McCune) Johnson.
Joann was a waitress and clerk for JJ Newbury in Ashtabula.
She was a member of Faith Freedom Fellowship for 27 years; former President of Aglow; was active in the Ashtabula Senior Center and Ashtabula YMCA, Interpretive Praise Dance and Signing.
Survivors include her children, Michael J. Salviano and Angel (Douglas) Griffith, both of Ashtabula, Richard (Tammi) Salviano Jr. of Kingsville, Mathew Mark (Leslie) Salviano of Tucson, Ariz., and Glory Salviano of Red Lion, Pa.; grandchildren, Michael, Rachael, Maximus, Kelsie, Kalin, Marissa, Miranda, Harmony, Melody and Roman; brothers, James "Jim" Crim of Boca Raton, Fla., and Charles Danny (Lisa) Crim of Springfield, Mo.; and sisters, Glenna (Gary) Flokstra and Carol (Eric) Whitlatch, both of Springfield, Mo.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard "Dick"; son, Jehoshuah; brother, Ricky Crim; sister, Vicki Crim; and her parents, Blanche V. McCune-Crim and Glenn Crim.
Calling Hours will be 5 to 8 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 22nd, at the Ashtabula First Church of the Nazarene, 1820 S. Ridge W. (Route 84), Ashtabula.
A Heavenly Celebration Service will be held 11 a.m., Monday, Dec. 23rd, at the church. Interment will be at Ridgeview Cemetery, Ashtabula.
