JEFFERSON — Thomas C. Lane, age 54, of W. Satin St., Jefferson, died at his residence on Sunday, Sept. 29, 2013.
He was born Oct. 21, 1958, in Cleveland, Ohio, the son of late Elmer and Barbara (Robertson) Lane. Thomas was a graduate of Geneva High School and had resided in Ashtabula County for most of his life.
He enjoyed the outdoors, playing softball, NASCAR and was an avid Cleveland sports fan. He worked as a Group Leader for Worthington Cylinders for over 20 years.
He is survived by his five beautiful daughters, Ashley L. Lane (Mike) of Cortland, Ohio, Amber L. Lane (Danny) of Madison and their mother, Michelle Lane of Austinburg, Tonya J. Lane (Geno) of Jefferson and her mother Mary Donathan of Jefferson, Nikki A. Lane and Kourtney T. Lane of Roaming Shores and their mother, Kandi Soltese of Roaming Shores; siblings, Bonnie (Scott) Blackwood of Delaware, Ohio, William Lane of Delaware, Ohio, Terri Rainey of Kingsland, Ga., Lori Wenzel of Warren, Pa. and Cheri Lane of Cleveland; four step-siblings; and three precious grandchildren, Kaydence, Bailey and Kaselynn.
A Memorial Service will be held 7 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 9th, at the Jefferson Home of FLEMING & BILLMAN FUNERAL DIRECTORS AND CREMATORY, 49 W. Jefferson St., Jefferson, with the Rev. Michael Cole, of First Baptist Church of Perry, officiating.
Visitation will be held at the Funeral Home from 5 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, prior to the Service.
