ASHTABULA — Lois J. Supplee, age 88, of Fargo Dr., Ashtabula, Ohio, died Sunday, Sept. 29, 2013, at the Ashtabula County Medical Center.
She was born Dec. 20, 1924, in Conneaut, Ohio, the daughter of Irus Samuel and Jessie (Hogle) Smith. She was a graduate of Jefferson High School.
Lois had been a volunteer with the American Red Cross.
She loved spending time with her family.
Surviving is her son, Richard C. (Lynn) Supplee of Crownsville, Md.; a daughter, Deborah L. (Jeff) Swann of Michigan; five grandchildren, Alexander, Adam, Amanda, Matthew and Keenan; three sisters, Doris Beckwith of Ashtabula, Joyce Castrilla of Geneva, Ohio, and Alice (Jerry) Dalrymple of Conneaut; and a brother, Kenneth Smith of Conneaut.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Herman H. Supplee in 2010; a brother, Gerald Smith; and a sister, Wilma Bristol.
Funeral Service will be 1 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 5th, at the Ashtabula Home of FLEMING & BILLMAN FUNERAL DIRECTORS, INC., 526 W. Prospect Road, Ashtabula, with the Rev. Brian Wright, of the Faith Community Church, officiating. Burial will be in Rome North Cemetery in Rome, Ohio.
Calling Hour will be Saturday from 12 p.m., Noon, until the time of Service at the Funeral Home.
