CHARDON — Rev. Ross R. DeFelice, age 74, of Harpersfield, Ohio, passed away Sunday, June 23, 2013, at University Hospitals Geauga Medical Center.
Born Jan. 26, 1939, in Cleveland, Ohio, he was a son of Mary Barone and Frank DeFelice. He married Shirley Bliss on August 5, 1961.
Ross was an area missionary for over 30 years serving at Chardon Baptist and most recently at Grace Baptist in Geneva. He was also a talented bricklayer.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Shirley; sons, Ross (Bonnie) DeFelice of Strongsville, Ohio, Perry (Dawn) DeFelice of Chardon, Ohio, Darren DeFelice of Wickliffe, Ohio, and Paul DeFelice of Harpersfield; granddaughters, Leesha, Desiree, Jorian, Bethany, Gabrielle, Taylor and Danielle; and brother, Donald (Kim) DeFelice of Middleburg Heights, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends will be received 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Wednesday, June 26th, at THE BEHM FAMILY FUNERAL HOMES, 175 S. Broadway, Geneva, Ohio. The Funeral Service will be 1 p.m. at the Funeral Home with Pastor James Hayes, from Chardon Baptist Church, officiating.
Final resting place will be at Harpersfield Cemetery in Harpersfield Township.
