GENEVA — Karen Jean Anderson died Monday, Jan. 27, 2014, at University Hospitals of Cleveland from complications of a stroke.
She was born June 1, 1951, in Geneva, Ohio, the daughter of Ernest “Soupy” and Dorothy (Askew) Pasqualone. She was a graduate of Geneva High School class of 1969 and was a Geneva resident most of her life.
She worked in the accounting field most of her career. She was currently employed with Anderson-Metzger and Company in Geneva.
She loved visiting with her son’s friends. She was a lovingly known by them as “Metal Mom”. She was an avid Cleveland sports fan. You could always find her sitting on her front porch watching the world around her.
Survivors include her son, Ian Anderson of Geneva; sister, Sharon Pasqualone of Geneva; a granddaughter, Rayna Spratt; and her ex husband and good friend, Ernie Anderson.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Graveside service and celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
