Bruno Kohowski, age 79, of Conneaut, Ohio, died on Wednesday evening, June 4, 2014, at UH Conneaut Medical Center in Conneaut.
Born on April 16, 1935, in Youngstown, Ohio, he was the son of Michael and Amelia (Przybylcwicz) Kohowski. Bruno was a Veteran of the United States Navy and on Nov. 11, 1961, he married the former Biddiana Heil.
Mr. Kohowski retired from GE in Conneaut.
He was a member of Corpus Christi Parish in Conneaut, where he was an active member; Knights of Columbus Council 627, where he was a past Grand Knight and past District Deputy, and the Sir Knight Leo J. Jane Assembly.
Survivors include his daughters, Edith (Ken) Jonas of Ashtabula, Maribeth (Mark) Yusko of Conneaut and Judith Kohowski of Conneaut; grandchildren, Sara and Patrick Yusko, and Aaron and Daniel Hough; sister, Camille Allen of Cortland; sister-in-law, Rose Kohowski; companion, Holly Adams-Linke of Conneaut; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 46 years, Biddiana Kohowski; and several brothers and sisters.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. on Monday, June 9th, at Corpus Christi Parish/ St. Frances Cabrini Church, with Father Phillip Miller as celebrant. Burial will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery, Conneaut.
Visitation will be on Sunday, June 8th, from 3 to 5 p.m. in GUERRIERO FUNERAL HOME, 1550 West 19th St., Ashtabula, Ohio.
