MIDDLEBURG HEIGHTS — — Maryann Deutsch, age 65, of Brunswick Hills, Ohio, passed away Sunday, July 21, 2013, at Southwest General Hospital in Middleburg Heights.
She was born May 2, 1948, in Cleveland, Ohio, a daughter to the late Julia (Walsh) and Vern Stark.
Maryann liked to shop, go to restaurants, and spend time with her family. She was interested in cooking of all kinds, cook books, and cooking shows, especially anything with Paula Deen. “Favorite Aunt Mare” was known for her Swedish meatballs, kielbasa sauerkraut, and dumplings.
She is lovingly survived by many nieces and nephews; a great-niece and great-nephew; cousins; and was “Grandma Goosey” to Allisa, Kayla, Hailey, Mathew, Stephanie, C.J., Rannon, Seth, Jay and Kerrigan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Julia and Vern; brother, Edward Stark Sr.; and sons, Dennis and Joseph Deutsch.
Friends will be received 4 to 7 p.m., Friday, July 26th, at THE BEHM FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 26 River St., Madison, Ohio.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m., Saturday, July 27th, at Immaculate Conception Church, 2846 Hubbard Road, Madison. Fr. Sean Donnelly will be presiding. Final resting place will be at Alexander Harper Cemetery in Unionville.
