GENEVA — Laura J. DeMarco, age 63, of Geneva, died Monday, Jan. 13, 2014, at Geneva Shores in Geneva.
She was born Dec. 27, 1950, in Geneva, the daughter of Frank and Essie (Humphrey) DeMarco and had been a lifetime area resident.
She was a 1968 graduate of Geneva High and had been employed by Gary Allen Sportswear and also had been a Cook of Assumption School.
She was a very spiritual person who was a member of the Assumption Church. She was very active in the art program at Geneva Shores and had entered paintings in the Grape Jamboree art show. She enjoyed painting, crafts and playing board games.
Surviving her are her seven brothers and sisters, Tim, David, Tony (Marg), Steven and Mike (Joyce) DeMarco, Beth King and Judy (David) Balaban; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Donald.
A Memorial Service will be held 12 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 18th, at the Geneva Home of FLEMING & BILLMAN FUNERAL DIRECTORS AND CREMATORY, 323 S. Broadway, Geneva, with Fr. Melvin Rusnak officiating.
Calling Hour will be Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of Service at the Funeral Home.
