KINGSVILLE — Lawrence A. Krueger, age 72, of Kingsville, Ohio, died unexpectedly at his home Friday, July 26, 2013.
Born Oct. 24, 1940, in Conneaut, Ohio, he was the son of Arnold H. and Virginia E. (Peden) Krueger.
Larry was a graduate of Conneaut High School and served with the U.S. Army from 1958 to 1961. He worked at G.E. Conneaut Base Plant, Occidental Chemicals, and was a security guard for UH-Conneaut Medical Center for nearly 11 years, with Burns Security.
He was a member of Conneaut Moose Lodge #472. He enjoyed tinkering in his barn and garage; collecting knives; collecting watches from the Handyman Tool Club; fishing; and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his daughter, Jeannie L. Krueger Tagle (Alfonso) of Conneaut; his son, Larry L. Krueger of Conneaut; daughter-in-law, Ann Krueger of Jefferson, Ohio; five grandchildren, Shane Kyle (fiancée: Alexa Alikic) Krueger-Tagle of Lakewood, Ohio, Casey Lee Krueger-Tagle of Conneaut, Dallas Krueger and Nash Krueger, both of Jefferson, Ohio, and Maddox Sabo of Conneaut; a sister, Ruth (Gerald) Bennett; two brothers, Richard Krueger of East Lake, Ohio, and Thomas Krueger; and nieces, nephews and more distant relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Starr L. Krueger in 2001; a son, Eddie A. Krueger in 1993; his niece, Tammy Henderson in 2012; his father-in-law, Edward Peterson in 2013; and his best friend, Richard Murphy.
A Memorial Gathering will be held at the home of Jeannie Krueger-Tagle, 468 Liberty St., Conneaut, Ohio, at 12 p.m., Saturday, August 3rd.
