GENEVA — Lawrence Allyn Brail went gently to the Lord on Monday, Jan. 7, 2013, at St. Luke Lutheran Home in North Canton.
Born August 31, 1935, he was preceded in death by his parents, Jay and Bertha May (Carkhuff) Brail; brothers and sisters, George (Isabel) Brail, Marion (Don) Harley, Stanley (Grace) Brail, Ralph (Wanda) Brail, Vera (Fritz) Brand, Roberta (Cecil) Fortier, Reed (Helen) Brail and twin sister, Leona (Larry) Park.
Survivors include his loving wife, Jean Lewers-Brail of North Canton; brother, Donald (Linda) Brail; daughter, Laura (Joe) Lose of Chesterland; sons, Scott (Theresa) Brail of Cincinnati and David Brail of Macedonia; step-daughters, Deborah (Martin) Hogen of Lancaster, Pa. and Laurie Quinn of North Canton; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Larry served in the U.S. Army, retired as a Salesman, was a member of Faith United Methodist Church, loved fishing, tennis and handyman projects.
A special thanks to the loving and caring staff at St. Luke Lutheran Home’s Alzheimer Unit.
A Celebration of Life will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 26th, at Faith United Methodist Church in North Canton.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to either St. Luke Lutheran Home Alzheimer Unit or a favorite charity.
