ASHTABULA — Helen J. Moore, age 70, passed away peacefully Thursday, July 25, 2013, following a one year battle with cancer.
She was born April 9, 1943, in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of Merle and Jennie (Konczol) Graff. On August 21, 1970, she married Roy H. Moore.
She enjoyed going to car shows, traveling, she collected porcelain dolls and she loved her dog "Sassy"; she was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and she will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her children, Ted (Trudy) Westover, Brenda (Jim) Sandella, Debbie Westover, Peggy (Ron) Dibell, Bonnie (Larry) Ralston and Roy "Man-Man" (Tara) Moore; her step-children, Rose (Roy) Stewart and James "Cricket" (Barb) Moore; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and her siblings, Betty Fogle, Sue (Bill) Copeland, Merle (Bonnie) Graff and Bob (Erma) Graff.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy H. Moore; her parents; a son, James Westover; and step-children, Sandy Aponte, Mary Lou Stewart and Dennis Moore.
Funeral Services will be held 12 p.m., Monday, July 29th, at Pentecostal Church of God, 2201 Cook Road, Ashtabula, with the Rev. Ken Roberts officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
Calling Hour will be held from 11 a.m. until time of Service, Monday, at the Church.
