SNELLVILLE, Ga. — Barbara Lucille Smith Clack, age 83, of Snellville, passed away Friday, July 12, 2013. She was born Nov. 27, 1929, in Conneaut, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bank and Grace Smith; her husband of 45 years, Robert E. Clack; and a daughter, Julie A. Freeman.
She is survived by her sister, Opal Dietz of Conneaut, Ohio; her children, Robert S. Clack (Jane), Cynthia G. Boyce (David), James E. Clack (Lisa); grandchildren, Jonathan Boyce, Nicholaus Boyce (Ashley), Michael Boyce, Stevi Clack, Gerald Freeman, Kendall Freeman and Tanner Clack; and a great-grandchild, Chase Boyce.
Mrs. Clack was a wonderful mother, wife, grandmother, and friend. She was everyone’s “gramma,” who loved and cared unconditionally. She never a met a stranger thanks to her gift of gab. Mrs. Clack was a woman of the Faith, as God’s word was her guide throughout her lifetime. She was an active member of Snellville United Methodist Church, where she loved her Sunday School. She will be truly missed by all who knew her.
She retired from Eastside Medical Center, where she worked as a PBX operator for many years.
A Funeral Service to Honor the Life of Barbara Lucille Smith Clack will be held 2 p.m., Wednesday, July 17th, at TOM M. WAGES SNELLVILLE CHAPEL, with the Rev. Jay Suender officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, July 16th, at the Funeral Home.
