Warren J. Eichler, age 93, of Westwood Drive, Ashtabula, passed away peacefully, Thursday, April 24, 2014, at the Ashtabula County Nursing Home.
Warren was born Dec. 22, 1920, in Quincy, Mich., to the late Gustave and Mable (Sanderson) Eichler. He graduated from Quincy High School in 1939 and took some college courses. He served in the United States Army as a Staff Sergeant for two years during World War II before being honorably discharged.
Warren was employed as a Project Engineer for Union Carbide for 20 years. He enjoyed playing golf, watching auto racing, surfing the internet, and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his son, Philip (Shelia) Eichler of Andover, Ohio; one daughter, Linda Eichler of Ashtabula; three grandchildren, Ean, Shelia and Jeffrey; five great-grandchildren, Megan and Haley Becord, Reese Eichler and Payton J. Eichler, and Christopher De Journett; and one sister, Arrol (Albert) Cuthrell of Clarkston, Mich.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Maxine (Kosteff) Eichler in 2002; his brother, Marvin Eichler; and his parents.

A Service will be held 2 p.m., Wednesday, April 30th, at Roseland Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel, 3744 Brooklyn Road, Jackson, Mich.
