Mary Josephine Millberg, age 92, of Ashtabula, passed away Friday, April 25, 2014, at Saybrook Landing.
She was born August 7, 1921, in Ashtabula, the daughter of Adolf and Marguerite (Miller) Rohl. She married the love of her life John “Jack” Millberg on Nov. 9, 1946.
Her survivors include her three daughters, Barbara (James) Hastings of Ashtabula, Bonita (Charles) Tarantina of Ashtabula, and Janelle (Howard) Kimpton of Ashtabula; grandchildren, Melinda Rich, Jarrod Hastings, Carrie Labert, Bryan Tarantina, Cynthia Dibell, Christopher Ward and Linda Ward; sister-in-law, June Millberg; and numerous great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Millberg; great-granddaughter, Isabelle Hastings; sister, Marguerite Rohl-Hewitt; brothers, Henry Rohl, and Patrick in infancy; and her parents.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m., Monday, April 28th, at St. Joseph Church, 3400 Lake Ave., with the Rev. Fr. Raymond Thomas presiding. Burial will follow at Saybrook Cemetery.
Calling Hour will be held at the Church on Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of Service.
