Althea “Sis” Smith, age 85, of Geneva, passed away Monday, April 21, 2014, at Geneva Village Retirement Center.
Born May 12, 1928, in Ashtabula County, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Clark.
Althea was a member of the Park Street Christian Church in Geneva. She spent many years baking and perfecting the crust for the pies sold each year at the Grape Jamboree. Althea was an avid sports fan and loved to watch the Indians and Browns, as well as watching NASCAR.
She is survived by her son, Stu (Vickie) Smith of Roaming Shores; grandchildren, Justin (Chrissy) Smith of Rocky River and Talana Smith of Maumee; 9 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; step-daughter, Carol; and step-sons, Paul and Eric.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert William Smith; second husband, Henry “Hank” Dreier; brothers, Fred, Herbert, Alfred and Clayton Clark; sister, Bonnie Frohman; and step-daughter, Elaine Pasqualone.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, April 24th, at THE BEHM FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 26 River St., Madison, Ohio.
A Funeral Service will be held 11 a.m., Friday, April 25th, at the Funeral Home. Final resting place will be at Perry Cemetery.
