CLEVELAND — James E. Weddle, age 48, of Roaming Shores, Ohio, died Wednesday afternoon, Nov. 13, 2013, at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation after suffering with severe heart ailments.
He was born Feb. 14, 1965, in Ashtabula, Ohio, the son of James I. and Betty J. (Offenberg) Weddle and has been an area resident all of his life.
Jim was a 1983 graduate of Jefferson Area High School and worked at the Gazette and now was currently employed at Save-A-Lot Warehouse in Austinburg Township.
Jim was a member of the Lenox Christian Fellowship Church. His interests included softball, baseball, bowling, making homemade wine, gardening and was a motorcycle enthusiast. He enjoyed doing photography both professionally and for pleasure.
Survivors include a niece, Samantha Deluia, and a nephew, Gregory Weddle, both of Roaming Shores; and an aunt, Luella Chamberlain of Jefferson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Betty, both in 2000; and a sister, Carol Weddle in 2005.
Memorial Services will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 23rd, at the Lenox Christian Fellowship Church, 2610 Lenox-New Lyme Road, Lenox Township, with Pastor Rick Havens officiating. Burial will follow in Lenox Center Cemetery.
No calling hours will be observed.
