NEW LYME — Brian L. Roth, age 48, of Route 46 South, died Sunday afternoon, Jan. 19, 2014.
He was born on June 7, 1965, in Ashtabula, Ohio, the son of Richard L. and Sally M. (Gaines) Roth and has resided in this area all his life.
Brian was a 1983 graduate of Pymatuning Valley High School. He drove taxi for the Amish for the past 28 years.
He loved to buy and sell cars! His family referring to him as a “self-employed entrepreneur”. He enjoyed going on vacation and soaking up the warmth of the sun. However, his children and grandchildren owned his heart.
He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Roth of Rome Township; his beloved children, Gary B. Roth of Rome Township, Marcus M. Roth of Mesopotamia, Jesse E. Rutter of Madison and Leland Ripple of Austintown; two beautiful grandchildren, Kaylee Roth of Andover and Evan Roth of Hartsgrove; a brother, Jeremy A. Roth of Orwell; a sister, Shelley M. (Jim) Strathern of Rome Township; and his loving nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
A Memorial Service will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 25th, at the New Lyme Baptist Church, 1280 Dodgeville Road, New Lyme, Ohio 44085, with Pastors Bill Aiken and current Pastor Paul Woods officiating. Burial will take place in Brownville Cemetery at a later date.
