David J. Brown

PIERPONT —

David John Brown, age 32, passed away Saturday, June 7, 2014, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

He was born Dec. 25, 1981, in Ashtabula, the son of John A. “Jack” Brown and Roxann (Burlingame) Brown and had been a lifelong area resident.

He attended the ACJVS and had recently began working for Will Smith Construction. He was previously employed by A.W. Taylor Lumber and Senita Roofing.

Handy and talented, David was always there to help others and could do just about anything. He was a hard worker and enjoyed the outdoors, being in the woods, mudding and 4-wheelers. He played Little League in his younger years and had also raced cars at Raceway 7.  But above all, he dearly loved his children and family.

His survivors include his wife, Angela (Taylor) Brown, whom he married July 21, 2007; two children, Adam David Brown and Veronica Taylor Brown; his father and step-mother, Jack and Lori Brown of Pierpont; three sisters, Amanda (Zeff) Marcy and Sara Comp, both of Pierpont and Autumn (Stephen) Dutton of Dorset; five nieces and nephews, Zayden and Zander (Amanda’s children), and Jaren, Angie, and Evie (Autumn’s children); grandparents, Roscoe and Nancy Burlingame of Ashtabula and Norma and Robert Brown of Woodsfield; and his brother-in-law, Will Taylor.

He was preceded in death by his cousin, Sheena Brown; mother, Roxann Brown; grandmother, Clare Brown; and uncle, Randy Burlingame.

Calling Hours will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, June 10th, at WILLIAMS-DUCRO FUNERAL HOME (formerly Pierpont Elementary School), 1071 SR 7, Pierpont.

A Service will be held 10 a.m., Wednesday, June 11th, at Pierpont Presbyterian Church, 71 SR 7, Pierpont. Pastor Dustin Leimgruber will officiate. Burial will be in Dorset Cemetery.

Contributions may be made to the family in care of Angela Brown to establish an educational fund for Adam and Veronica.
