BROOKSVILLE, Fla. — Beatrice L. Andrascik, age 79, of Epworth Drive, Brooksville, Fla., passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2013.

She was born March 24, 1934, in Ashtabula Ohio, the daughter of Alfred and Pauline (Sleeper) Gillespie.

Beatrice was devoted to the churches she belonged to, including St. Paul United Presbyterian Church in Mentor, Ohio, the Church of Christ in Painesville, Ohio, and the Brooksville Wesleyan Church in Brooksville, Fla. She was very active working in the church office, serving as an elder, teaching Sunday School, playing the piano, and singing in the choir. She was an accomplished alto soloist.

She enjoyed working as an administrative secretary for Ridgecliff Hospital and in the career office of Lakeland Community College. Most of all she loved being a mother and a grandmother.

She is survived by her husband, Robert E. Andrascik; three sons, Bradley (LuAnn) Finlayson of Willowick, Ohio, Kirt (Mary Jean) Finlayson of Jensen Beach, Fla. and Todd (Rena) Finlayson of Port St. Lucie, Fla. She had three grandchildren by Brad and LuAnn; Brooke, Jimmy and Kate. There are seven other grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She had three step-daughters including Lynn Spencer (Mark) of Brecksville, Ohio, Janet Sparker (Steve) of Naples, Fla. and MaryBeth Hall of Delaware, Ohio.

Beatrice was preceded in death by her first husband, James Finlayson; her parents; and her brother, Gordon Gillespie.

Funeral Services will be held 1 p.m., Monday, June 3rd, at the Ashtabula Home of FLEMING & BILLMAN FUNERAL DIRECTORS, 526 W. Prospect Road, Ashtabula. The Rev. Paul Berridge will be officiating. Burial will take place at Saybrook Cemetery.

Calling Hours will be held from 11 a.m. until time of Service on Monday.
