HOLIDAY, Fla. — In Loving Memory of Harry Windle Jr., who went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus on Friday, May 24, 2013.
Harry was born in Youngstown, Ohio in 1940. He grew up in Warren, Ohio, where he attended Warren Harding High School and became an outstanding academic and football player earning letters and playing ball with Paul Warfield.
From there he became a Sea plane pilot and started his work career at Republic Steel. Looking for a bigger challenge, he moved to Geneva, Ohio, where he started farming and a business of his own with his wife of over 50 years. He had two sons and many grandchildren.
Harry became a huge community leader with the development of the Trumbull Fire Dept., Township Trustee, and coaching little league to a championship. He was always an overachiever, built two successful businesses and served his community for many years. He was always willing to lift a helping hand to anyone in need and he never met a stranger. He lived his life with high moral character, always willing to do the right thing, even if it was at his own expense.
He loved spending time with his family, boating was one of his favorites. He retired to Florida where he enjoyed hanging out with his wife, being a true man of God.
