GENEVA — Lois J. McGrath, age 81, of Austinburg, Ohio, died Monday evening, Jan. 14, 2013, at the Geneva Village Retirement Center.
Born Feb. 1, 1931, in Meadville, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Carson and Helen (Bollinger) Porter and a graduate of Meadville High School.
She enjoyed knitting, painting and shopping on QVC.
Her family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Hospice of the Western Reserve for all of their kindness and support. They are forever grateful for your compassion.
She is survived by her three children, Gary (Donna) Nale of Saegertown, Pa., Linda (Tom) Francis of Mentor and Cathy Fogaty of Chicago, Ill.; brothers, William (Connie) Porter of Austin, Texas, and Daniel (Diane) Porter of Woodbridge, Va.; sisters, Joy (William) Miller of Meadville, Pa., and Nancy (Ted) Brink of Erie, Pa.; five grandchildren, Timothy Francis, Jessica Francis, Craig (Lindsay) Nale, Emily Nale and Trevor Fogaty; and three beautiful great-grandchildren, Matthew, Alayna and Jacob Nale.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James McGrath; a brother, Francis Rittenour; and a sister, Patty Williams.
There are no services.
