GENEVA — Richard R. Landphair, age 86, of Geneva, Ohio, passed away Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013, at Geneva Retirement Village in Geneva.
He was born April 5, 1926, in Rocky River, to Camilla (Nyberg) and Reed Landphair. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. Richard was married to Eleanor Bandelewski on July 10, 1948, in Geneva, Ohio.
Richard was a machinist at Rockwell Brake for 33 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, playing pinochle and spending time in Florida and Canada.
He is survived by his wife, Eleanor Landphair of Geneva; two sons, Charles (Patricia) Landphair and Alan (Carol) Landphair, both of Geneva; daughter, Susan Landphair of Geneva; and grandchildren, Amy, Joni, Corissa, William and Trenton.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and sisters, Arlene Williams and Lila Bliss.
Friends will be received from 2 to 3 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 13th, at THE BEHM FAMILY FUNERAL HOMES, 175 S. Broadway, Geneva, Ohio.
Funeral Service will follow at 3 p.m., with Roger Zele officiating. Final Resting Place will be at Lakeview Cemetery in Geneva.
