ASHTABULA — Carol J. Smith, age 66, of Ashtabula, Ohio, and formerly of Jefferson, Ohio, passed away Thursday, Jan. 30, 2014, at the Ashtabula County Medical Center.
She was born Feb. 10, 1947, in Linesville, Pa., the daughter of the late Charles and Nina Rozalski.
Carol worked at Glastics in Jefferson for over 40 years before their closing.
She was a member of the Jefferson Eagles Club for many years. She enjoyed reading romance novels and putting together puzzles.
Carol was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers Fan and loved Elvis. She enjoyed watching the USA channel, CSI was her favorite. But above all, she enjoyed spending time with her friends and family.
Carol is survived by her daughter, Tammie Littlefield of Ashtabula; sister, Eleanor Torres of Ashtabula; brothers, Charles (Bonnie) Rozalski of Conneaut and James Rozalski of Linesville, Pa.; grandchildren, Michael, Brandon and Cade Littlefield and Alexis Williams; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Ann Shubbuck; brothers, Philip Reed Rozalski and John Robert Kangas; and her parents.
Friends may call on Saturday, Feb. 8th, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the DUCRO FUNERAL HOME, 4524 Elm Ave., Ashtabula, Ohio 44004.
