ASHTABULA — Michael R. Clay, age 56, of Garrison Road, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2014, at his home.
The son of Ralph C. and Deloris A. (Ross) Clay, he was born on Dec. 10, 1957, in Euclid, Ohio.
He was a big sports fan and especially enjoyed watching the Tennessee Volunteers football and basketball games.
Mike is survived by his father, Ralph C. Clay; brother, Mark (Melissa) Clay; nieces, Breanna, Brandi and Brittany Clay, all of Ashtabula.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Deloris Ann (Ross) Clay, on Nov. 24, 2011.
Memorial Services will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 8, 2014, at ZABACK-WILLIAMS-DUCRO FUNERAL HOME, 500 W. Prospect Road, Ashtabula, with the Rev. Kenneth Roberts, Pastor of Pentecostal Church of God, officiating.
Calling Hours will be held at the Funeral Home on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of Service.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest that contributions be made to the Lighthouse Harvest Food Pantry. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
