GENEVA-ON-THE-LAKE — Nathan “Nate” T. Moss, age 33, of G.O.T.L., left us prematurely to be held by the angels above on Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014, at University Hospital, Cleveland.
He was brought onto this earth June 17, 1980, in Geneva, the son of Clayton Moss and Donna Moss and had been a lifelong resident.
Nate was our angel, always pulling through all obstacles put in his path, bringing smiles to all those around him. He was a fighter never trying to give up, his heart overflowing with love and compassion. He would offer his last even if that’s all he had. Nate always put family first and had many, many friends he met along his short journey here on earth.
He loved wrestling, playing PS3, collecting comic books and other movie memorabilia. He was an avid movie watcher building his DVD collection, and was particularly fond of Batman, often saying “the dark Nate rises.”
Surviving him are his mother, Donna Moss of G.O.T.L.; father, Clayton Moss of G.O.T.L.; step-mother, Maryann Baxter of G.O.T.L.; sisters, Melanie Moss-Benton (Bernard) of Ashtabula and Sabrina Moss of Lakewood; brother, Dan Moss of G.O.T.L.; nieces, Savannah Vickman and Alexisse Moss; a great-niece on the way, Verah; nephews, Lorenzo Torres, Braelon, Bransonn and Brosnan Bartley, and Xavier Moss-Newsome; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents; uncle, James Moss; and cousins, Bill “Billy” Moss and Pete “Petey” Moss.
Our family would like to extend a gracious thank you to all of you who attended Nate’s calling hours and funeral service.
