ASHTABULA — Randy Ray Burlingame, age 54, died unexpectedly at his home on Monday, August 26, 2013.
The son of Roscoe and Nancy (Lipps) Burlingame, he was born on Feb. 9, 1959, in Ashtabula, Ohio. Randy was graduate of Ashtabula High School.
He was employed as a State Tested Nurse’s Aide and worked for several long-term care facilities in the area; his last place of employment was Inn-Conneaut.
Randy lived several years in Florida and was always ready to welcome his parents and family for extended visits.
A movie buff, Randy enjoyed westerns, especially John Wayne movies. He had a large collection of “I Love Lucy” shows and enjoyed a quiet evening of old television. Randy enjoyed all animals, large or small.
Randy is survived by his parents, Roscoe and Nancy Burlingame; his brother, Rodney (Lori) Burlingame of Geneva-on-the-Lake; his sister, Robin Burlingame of Ashtabula; and his nieces and nephews, Jason, David, Holly, Amanda, Owen and Ethan.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Roxanne Brown; and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 30th, at Ashtabula First Church of the Nazarene, 1820 South Ridge Road, Ashtabula, Ohio, with Pastor Mike Legg officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, North Kingsville, Ohio.
No calling hours will be observed.
