ASHTABULA — Peggy A. Brummitt, age 79, of Ashtabula, died Thursday, August 22, 2013, at Rae Ann Geneva.
She was a nurses aide at Stewart Lodge in Madison. A member of the Ashtabula Church of God, Peggy liked to watch all sports, especially football and was a Steeler's Fan.
She is survived by two sons, Paul (Sandy) Maynard of Geneva Township and Jerry (Lori) Brummitt Jr. of Ashtabula; six grandchildren, Tiffany (Don) Chaplin, Jaime (Frank) Wojtowicz, Mark (Marie) Stapleton, Chad (Hattie) Stapleton and Josh and Douglas Brummitt; eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Fred "Boomie" (Charlotte) Calhoun of Praat, W.Va.; and two sisters, Noke Parcell of Geneva-on-the-Lake and Mandy Baldwin of West Virginia.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Shelly Teachout; her parents, Lymon and Blanche (Kitchen) Calhoun; brothers, Paul & Jerry Calhoun; and sisters, Bess Savere and Lorain Massey.
Funeral Service will be 10 a.m., Tuesday, August 27th, at WALKER FUNERAL HOME, 828 Sherman St., Geneva, with Rev. Chris Rogers, of Ashtabula Church of God, officiating. Internment at St. Joseph Cemetery in Ashtabula.
Calling Hours will be from 7 to 9 p.m., Monday, August 26th, at the Funeral Home.
