MENTOR — Karen Deanna Mason, age 59, of Mentor, went to be with the Lord while at her home surrounded by her family on Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2014.
She was born August 30, 1954, in Ashtabula, to Frederick (Diane) Phelps and Norma Peterson.
Karen was the CEO for Bula Forge and Machine Inc. and was a member of various local business and charitable organizations. She was also very involved in many ministries at North Mentor Centenary United Methodist Church.
Karen is survived by her husband of 34 years, Jerry; her children, Miranda (James) White and Gregory Mason; granddaughter, Brittany White; and siblings, Wayne Phelps and Adam (Jennifer) Phelps.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Russell Phelps.
Visitation will be Saturday from 3 to 6 p.m., with a 6 p.m. Service at MONREAL FUNERAL HOME, 35400 Curtis Blvd., Eastlake Ohio.
