JEFFERSON — Patricia Dodge peacefully joined our savior, the Lord on the evening of Saturday, Jan. 4, 2014.

Born Feb. 23, 1942, Patty was a loving wife of 56 years to Albert Dodge and dearest mom to Rosemary (Elmer) Herman, Betty Hamilton, Kathy Gologram, Nancy (Scott) Hamilton and Heidi (Greg) Cameron.

Patty was a peace maker and showed endless love for all of her family. She wanted to remember every special moment and always had a video camera at hand to ensure not one moment was missed. Patty was a homemaker, who was there with a helping hand. She loved her family unconditionally and took joy in watching her kids and grandchildren.

Patty was blessed with 19 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Babies always lit up her face with a smile; everyone knew she couldn’t resist holding and playing with the babies of the family. She loved them so much that even holding a babydoll lifted her spirits and made her smile. Listening to Christian music and praising God were two of her favorite pastimes. Patty attended the Old Regular Baptist Church, Lily of the Valley in Geneva.

Patty is survived by her husband, Albert Dodge of Jefferson; three siblings, Mary Howland, Homer Ray Clough and Dale Clough; her children, Rosemary (Elmer) Herman of Jefferson, Betty Hamilton of Ashtabula, Kathy Gologram of Jefferson, Nancy (Scott) Hamilton of Geneva and Heidi (Greg) Cameron of Jefferson; 17 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ethel and Homer Clough; and her grandsons, Larry and Mathew Hamilton.

A Funeral Service will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday, Jan. 7th, at Lily of the Valley Church, 600 Kiwanis Park Dr., Geneva, Ohio, with Elder Scott Hamilton, of Lily of the Valley Church, officiating. Burial will follow at Oakdale Cemetery, Jefferson.

Calling Hours will be held from 12 Noon to 7 p.m., Today, Jan. 6th, at the Church.
