JEFFERSON — Alva Robert Corron, age 18, a resident of Jefferson, Ohio, joined the angels on Saturday, Dec. 14, 2013.
He was born on June 25, 1995, in Ashtabula, Ohio. He was a junior in the Ohio Connections Academy.
Alva earned his Eagle Scout through the Boy Scouts of America in the short time of three years. A member of both St. Joseph Church and Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, he was planning after high school graduation to become a licensed electrician and work with his father in construction.
We lost one of our own here today, but we need to remember that though we miss him; we have only lost him in body. That he is and always will be with us in spirit. When the time is right we will see him again, but until then may he know that we love him and wish him peace and happiness in our Lord’s hall.
Alva had a bright future, but the heavens must have needed another hero. He was a magnificent young man in a tragic accident. He was a responsible, hardworking, and unique young man. He touched the hearts of everyone he met and never had an enemy.
Alva was always trying new inventions or making things that were already working better. So when we see the rain coming down in a distinct pattern we will know that he has found his way to rework the rain machine. And when the lights are flashing in the skies of different colors, we will know one of Alva’s inventions has either worked or blown up!
He is survived by his mother, Mary (Bucci) Corron, and his father, Chad Corron; and his sister, Dawnelle Corron; and many other loved ones.
We will not be having calling hours or a funeral for Alva. Instead the family has decided that they want to celebrate Alva’s life with friends and family.
Details will be provided for those who wish to come celebrate with us.
If desired, contributions in Alva’s name may be made to the DUCRO FUNERAL SERVICES AND CREMATORY, 4524 Elm Ave., Ashtabula, Ohio 44004, who is in charge of arrangements.
