NORTH KINGSVILLE — Connie Lee Fisher, age 56, of Haddam Dr., North Kingsville, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2013, at Saybrook Landing.
Connie was born the daughter of the late Vernon A. and Marie E. (Carter) Sharp in Conneaut on Dec. 13, 1956. She was a graduate of Edgewood High School Class of 1976.
Connie was employed as a cook for several area restaurants and enjoyed cooking for Camp Calvary. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Cowle Post #151 and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie Auxiliary #408. Connie loved the outdoors and enjoyed gardening, bird watching, yoga, laying in the sun, reading and doing puzzles.
She is survived by her daughters, Sheri Thompson and Tami Godenschwager; her brothers, Raymond (Margaret) Sharp and Wayne (Debbie) Sharp; long time companion, Thomas McClintock; and her beloved cat, "Porky."
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edward Godenschwager; step-father, Roy Parker; and her sister, Debra Sharp.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 1 p.m., Monday, Dec. 16th, at THOMPSON-SMITH-NESBITT FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 345 Main St., Conneaut, with Pastor Tim Kraus Celebrating. Inurnment will follow Services at Gageville Cemetery.
Friends may gather at the Funeral Home on Monday from 11 a.m. until time of Services at 1 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in memory of Connie may be given to the Ashtabula Animal Protective League, 5970 Green Road, Ashtabula, Ohio 44004. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
