CONNEAUT — Irene N. Roth, age 81, of Conneaut, died Saturday, May 25, 2013, at the Ashtabula County Nursing Home.
Irene was born July 29, 1931, in Lockwood, Ohio, the daughter of Leonard and Stephanie Kubuj. She was a 1949 graduate of Green High School.
Irene worked for Lou Maliska Pontiac and Krieder Buick auto dealerships in the Cleveland area. Irene was a member of St. Mary/ St. Frances Cabrini Parish. She enjoyed crocheting, reading and gardening. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and three sisters, Sophi Lieber, Julia Coxon and Lucy Malanish.
Irene is survived by her husband, Ronald S. Roth, whom she was married to for over 60 years; a son, Christopher and Kimberly Roth of Columbus; three daughters, Cynthia Pallant of Jefferson, Deborah and Jerry Jackson of Texas and Melissa and Ron Hudson of South Carolina; a brother, Edward Kubuj of Cortland, Ohio; and four grandchildren.
Calling Hour will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., Friday, May 31st, at RAISIAN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 581 Harbor St., Conneaut.
Mass of the Christian burial will be celebrated 11:30 a.m., Friday, May 31st, at St. Mary Church, 480 State St., Conneaut, with Fr. John Summers officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Route 20, Conneaut.
