JEFFERSON — Alma G. Otto, age 92, of Webster Road, Lenox Township, died Tuesday morning, April 23, 2013, at the Jefferson Healthcare Center.
She was born May 24, 1920, in Ashtabula, Ohio, the daughter of French and Elva (Shellito) Hardman. On Oct. 20, 1941, Alma and Jay Otto were married.
She worked as a long-distance phone operator for Ohio Bell.
She and her husband had spent 25 years in Naples, Fla., before moving back to this area five years ago. Alma enjoyed painting and cooking.
Survivors include her two sons, Thomas E. Otto Sr. of Saybrook Township and David G. Otto of Jefferson; five grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Jay A. Otto in December 2012.
Graveside Services will be held 11 a.m., Friday, April 26th, at Ridgeview Cemetery, with Pastor Bill McMinn, of Eagleville Bible Church, officiating. No calling hours will be observed.
