CARTERSVILLE, Ga. — Pauline Marie Evar, age 92, of Cartersville, Ga., and former Ashtabula resident, died Monday, March 11, 2013, in Cartersville.
Born Oct. 8, 1920, in East Palestine, Ohio, she was the daughter of Paul and Marie Henderson and a long-time Ashtabula resident, moving to Georgia in 2011. She was a 1938 graduate of Ashtabula High School and married Raymond M. Evar on Feb. 26, 1942.
She had worked at AAA for over fifteen years and had also worked at the YWCA/YMCA for four years.
She was an active member of Harris Memorial Presbyterian Church where she served as a Deacon and treasury assistant.
Surviving her are two sons, David (Leona) Evar of Brooklyn, Ohio, and Mark Evar of Dayton; two daughters, Dianne (Jack) Linna of Desoto, Texas, and Jane (Evar) Myers of Cartersville, Ga.; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and 23 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Raymond; and her sister, Juanita.
A Service will be held 1 p.m., Thursday, June 13th, at the Greenlawn Memory Gardens, Route 20, North Kingsville, Ohio.
