ROME TOWNSHIP — James K. Stormer, age 52, died at his home peacefully on Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2014, with his loving family by his side.

He was born July 12, 1961 in Peru, Indiana. Jim graduated from Grand Valley High School in Orwell, Ohio, and went on to receive his Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering from DeVry Technical Institute.

He worked for Siemens Health Care for the past 28 years and was employed as a biomedical engineer and an MRI specialist.

Jim loved to ski and snowboard, ride his motorcycle, and spend time with family and friends. He will be especially remembered for his quick wit and amusing anecdotes. He loved to entertain at home, and many enjoyed good times on his back deck.

His parents, John and Sandra of Geneva and Ken and Mary Bentley of Rome, survive him. He is also survived by three sisters, Carole Stormer-Vaux (Tony) of Rome and Karen Stormer and Kathy Stormer, both of Painesville; and his longtime friend, Colleen Stormer of Rome.

His brother Jeffry Alan Stormer preceded him in death in 2009.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, Jan. 18th, at 1 p.m., at Eagleville Bible Church, 1981 Rt. 45, Rock Creek, Ohio, with Pastor Bill McMinn officiating. A family greeting will take place prior to Service from Noon to 1 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made (note - In memory of James K.
