He was sentenced to six months in the Ashtabula City Jail and must complete six months of unsupervised probation. Joseph D. Sabo, 37, 5119 Phillips Drive Apt. B, Geneva, appeared April 10 for his sentencing hearing on the previous conviction of obstructing official business and inducing panic, both fifth-degree felonies. He must complete two years of community control and pay the court costs.
Timothy J. Simpson, 46, 2681 Rice Road, Rock Creek, appeared April 17 for his sentencing hearing on the previous conviction of felonious assault, a second-degree felony. He was sentenced to two years in prison with 15 days jail time credited and must complete a period of post-release control. He must pay the court costs.
Davaun Knapp, 19, 527 W. 40th St., Ashtabula, appeared April 17 for his sentencing hearing on the previous conviction of breaking and entering, a fifth-degree felony. He must complete two years of intensive probation and pay the court costs.
