Light of Day Band to play gospel music

ASHTABULA —  Great Music without Barriers, the fine arts series at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, will present its annual holiday concert Dec. 16 at 7:30 p.m. with the Light of Day Band performing gospel Christmas music.

The Light of Day Band is led by husband and wife team Brian Bowie and Arlene Peterson and rounded off by Bernard Bowie, Chris Stennis and Joe Moon. The band plays jazz, R&B, funk, reggae, top 40, soul and gospel. The band is versatile in its presentation venues, playing the local winery circuit as well as private concerts.

As is the custom for the holiday concert at St. Peter’s, desserts will be offered in the Parish Hall beginning at 6:30 p.m.
