Good Life Singers usher in holidays this weekend

ASHTABULA —  The Good Life Singers presents its annual holiday concert, “A Year in the Good Life,” today and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at the Ashtabula Arts Center.

Inspired by the favorite Bing Crosby and Fred Astaire classic “Holiday Inn,”  The Good Life Singers will be singing through a year of favorite holiday songs concluding with Christmas and Hanukkah favorites such “Christmas is the Warmest Time of the Year,” “Silver Bells” and “Carol of the Bells.”

A non-profit organization made up of volunteer members who love to sing, The Good Life began in 1976 and has been a part of the Ashtabula Arts Center and Ashtabula County since its origin. The Good Life performs both Christmas and spring concerts at the Ashtabula Arts Center and is available for community and private functions throughout the year.

The Good Life is looking for new members who love to sing. To arrange for an audition, call Bridget Sherman at 964-5193.

Tickets to the holiday concert are $9 and can be purchased at the center, through a Good Life member or at the door.
