ASHTABULA —  Get ready to shake things up with a mixture of love stories and whacky hijinks all set to a score of 2--plus top 40 Elvis tunes in G. B. Community Theatre’s “All Shook Up.”

Inspired by, and featuring the songs of, the late Elvis Presley and written by Joe DiPietro, “All Shook Up” will continue its three weekend run on today through Sunday and Jan. 25 and 26. Friday and Saturday shows begin at 8 p.m. The Sunday matinee is at 2 p.m.

When hip swivelin’ roustabout “Chad” hits a small Midwest town under the rule of an ultra-conservative mayor, the guitar-playing newcomer has to teach the whole town how to swing to a hip new beat! Using the legendary rock n’ roll music of Presley, “All Shook Up” is a fun-loving adventure with sensational singing, dancing, a live pit band and enough nostalgia to have you melting with “burning love” for those long ago days and nights of the 1950s.

“We have a large and energetic cast for this show and everyone has been working really hard to bring the feel of the 50’s to the stage,” says director and choreographer Kimberly Godfrey.

The cast includes Anthony Colby as Chad, Emily Baker, Ron Cramer, Jewel Chappell, Isabelle Fleming, David Zorkocy, Mackenzie Leskovec, Jenean Kile, Robert Taylor, Blaise Beach, Tessa Deutsch, Jayson Gage, Tywan “Tank” Jackson, Tristan Kile, Meghann Stell, Fred Spikes, Brandon Sweeney, Nathan Lowery, Justin Brown, Kayla Browning, Brittney Emerson, Jacob Emerson, Quimani “Kiki” Harris, Sydne Nielsen, Stellina Scacco, Gabby Sherbeyn, Courtney Smith, Abe Thomas and Alexandria Woolard.

Tickets are on sale now. Adults $14, seniors/students $12 or save $2 per ticket when you purchase tickets in advance.  Advance sales must be purchased prior to 4 p.m. on the day of the show or by 4 p.m. Saturday for Sunday performances.
