G.B. Community Theatre will be warming up cold and windy January nights with a whirlwind of a hot, hot show when “All Shook Up” takes the stage.
Performances inspired by and featuring the songs of Elvis Presley will be held Jan. 11, 12, 13, 18, 19, 20, 25, 26. Friday and Saturday shows begin at 8 p.m. Sunday matinees are held at 2 p.m.
Into a square little town in a square little state sometime in the nifty 1950’s rides a guitar-playing roustabout who changes everything and everyone he meets in this Broadway hit that has become an audience favorite.
This hip-swiveling, lip-curling musical fantasy will have you jumpin' out of your blue suede shoes with such classics as “Heartbreak Hotel,” “Jailhouse Rock,” “Love Me Tender” and “Don't Be Cruel.”
“One reason I think Elvis's work has endured and still touches people so strongly is that he sang with such passion,” says author Joe DiPietro. “You really felt all of the joy and all of the heartache in these songs.”
Tickets are on sale now. Adults $14, seniors/students $12 or save $2 per ticket when you purchase tickets in advance. Advance sales must be purchased prior to 4 p.m. on the day of the show or by 4 p.m. Saturday for Sunday performances. Tickets can be purchased by visiting the box office or by phone at 964-3396.

However seating is limited and dinner tickets often sell out before the deadline.
