Enon Valley Presbyterian Church in Findlay was the setting for the double-ring wedding uniting Megan Suzanne Volpone and Ryan Michael Ward on June 8, 2013. The Rev. Sandy Seaton-Todd of Pepper Pike Church of the Western Reserve officiated the 2:30 p.m. ceremony. Acolyte was Sidney Melaragno, cousin of the bride. Readers were Gary Lindsay of Holt, Mich., uncle of the groom, and Elizabeth Weckerly of Wylie, Texas.
Parents of the bride are David and Natalie Volpone of Ashtabula. Her grandparents are Gene and Pat Osborne and Dominic and Marjorie Volpone, all of Ashtabula. The groom’s parents are Michael and Judith Ward of Eaton Rapids, Mich. His grandparents are Alice Ward of Lansing, Mich., and Thomas Lindsay of Okemas, Mich.
For her wedding the bride chose a strapless gown of ivory satin featuring stunning horizontal beaded lace detailing into a sweep train. She added a platinum beaded sash and a fingertip-length ivory veil with sequin embellishment and crystal comb.
The groom was attired in a black Joseph & Feiss tuxedo with ivory shirt, platinum vest and tie and spectator shoes.
Serving as maid of honor was Allison Luoma of Cleveland. Bridesmaids included Abbie Volpone of Ashtabula, sister of the bride; Kyleigh Feenstra of Westerville; and Lynsii Ward of Bath, Mich., sister of the groom.
Best man was Brian Keesey of East Lansing, Mich. Groomsmen were Nick Voss of DeWitt, Mich.; Adam Cooley of Bath; and Kyle Melaragno of Ashtabula, cousin of the bride.
A reception for the couple was held at the Findlay Country Club.
The bride graduated from Lakeside High School in 2009 and received her bachelor of arts degree in deaf education from Bowling Green State University in 2013. She is employed with Northview Public Schools. The groom, a 2007 graduate of Eaton Rapids High School, received his bachelor of arts degree in media, arts and technology from Michigan State University in 2011. He is employed with MSU College of Natural Sciences.
Following a wedding trip to Mackinac Island, Mich., the couple reside in Portland, Mich.
