Hunter-Inks

Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Rock Creek was the setting for the wedding Mass uniting Laura Hunter and Joshua Inks on April 6, 2013. The Rev. G. David Weikart officiated the 11 a.m. ceremony. Organist was Joy Leirer of Rome. Vocalists for the occasion were Jim Hunter of Cincinnati and Jon Hunter of Collegeville, Pa., brothers of the bride; Rachel and David Bridenstine of Hartville, sister and brother-in-law of the groom; and Veronica Ruggeri of Trumbull, who was also a reader. Other readers were Dave Mersek of Rome, uncle and godfather of the bride; Earl Inks, father of the groom; and Alexandra Robbins.

Parents of the couple are Gary and Patricia (Lambert) Hunter of Rome and Earl and Deborah (Krapf) Inks of Windsor.

For her wedding the bride wore her mother’s handmade dress. Lace was added to the empire waistline which parted at the front middle and flowed onto a three-foot train. The modest neckline and lace sleeves were also added to the original gown.

The groom was attired in a white tuxedo.

Serving as honor attendants for the bride were her brothers, Jon and Jim Hunter. The groom’s honor attendants were his sisters, Rachel Bridenstine and Christina Inks of Windsor. Ring bearer was Elijah Bridenstine, nephew of the groom. Usher was David Bridenstine. Among those receiving flowers was Evelyn Johnson, grandmother of the bride.

A reception for the couple was held at Sacred Heart Church Hall.

The bride received her degree in business from Malone College. She is employed as the development director at L’Arche Erie, Erie, Pa. The groom received his degree in math and physics from Grove City College and also served in the Navy. He is employed at Geauga Parks District. Following a wedding trip to Coshocton, the couple are residing in Rome Township.
