Ashtabula County is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Budget Analyst. Prefer candidates with Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Public Administration or Economics, and a minimum of four years of progressively responsible experience in financial/budget management/analysis, or closely related area. A demonstrated track record of analytical ability and management; experience with financial/budget management systems, financial software and spreadsheet applications, excellent written/verbal communications skills. Previous government experience desirable. Must possess a valid Ohio driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. Must be able to comply with the Ashtabula County Drug Free Workplace Policy. An individual who poses a direct threat to the health and safety of himself/herself or others in the workplace will be deemed not qualified for this position.
Starting salary is $42,390.
