Save a little green at Greenlite Motors

— KINGSVILLE TOWNSHIP — Even in this present economic climate, people still need reliable vehicles, and Greenlite Motors is ready to meet that need.
Conveniently located at 5730 Route 193, near the Interstate 90 interchange, Greenlite Motors offers a different approach to buying used vehicles.
“Greenlite is owned by five business partners, which provides us with low overhead so we can pass the savings on to our customers,” said Todd Fenton, sales manager, who has been in the car business since 1998.
“We’re selling cars at a lower rate, not the finance rate,” he said.
Each partner brings to the Greenlite lot his own specialty of vehicle makes and models.
“It is like a co-op, where one partner may bring in SUVs and another economy cars or high-end vehicles,” Fenton said.
In fact, on the lot right now, customers may find a Chevrolet Trailblazer, a Ford Mustang convertible, Kias, Hyundais, Saturns, Mitsubishis, trucks and other sport utility vehicles.
“We have sold in the short time we’ve been open, a 1999 Corvette with 30,000 miles, a 1999 Porsche Boxster and a 1984 Ferrari GT-308,” he said.
Where does Greenlite Motors find its cars?
“Pennsylvania and New York, because these states offer the most complete inspections of cars, which includes mechanical and corrosion inspections,” Fenton said.
The owners of Greenlite chose the Kingsville location because of the steady traffic flow, it is easy to find, and the building and lot are very large to accommodate growth.
Greenlite Motors sells full optional warranty packages on the vehicles it sells.
There is also a complete detailing business on site available for customers, which includes buffing and waxing, complete interior and trunk shampoo, and engine degreasing.
“I like dealing with people and staying busy. I enjoy cleaning the cars, and I feel it is something I do well,” Fenton said.
