ASHTABULA — If titles like “Princess Bride,” “Bourne Identity,” and “You’ve Got Mail,” get your blood going, then check-out the newest video and game shop in town.
Sell it Again Video and Games, located at 2130 W. Prospect, in the former Legends Pizza location, officially opened for business Monday.
Owners David and Christiana McGrath, of Geneva-on-the-Lake, are very excited about their new business venture together.
“I like meeting new people and I think it is nice we get to work together,” said Christiana, 21, who is also the store manager.
“I am a people person; I love movies and games, what a better way to combine the two than to open this store,” said 23-year-old David.
The McGraths have been collecting DVDs and games for more than a year.
“We will buy, sell, trade and rent seven days a week,” David said.
What all does Sell It Again Movies and Games have to offer?
Brand new movies available every Tuesday; all major name brand game systems and their games; Blu-Ray Discs; DVDs; VHS; plus anything electronic such as Apple iPods.
Plus, the shop has Wi-Fi (wireless internet), so come on in with a lap top and enjoy the free Internet access.
“There are a lot of people buying and selling this stuff right now, and with the local Blockbuster closing, I thought I would offer rentals also,” David said.
How is Sell It Again different from their competitors?
“We will buy all day everyday and will give you a fair price for what you bring in,” David said. “And we are open seven days a week.”
The McGraths also sell security systems or digital video recorders (DVRs), such as Hik Vision, and more.
In order to get ready to open, the McGraths completely remodeled the inside of the shop, which now has plenty of room for the growing inventory they expect will come in very soon.
In the future, the McGraths would like to be in a financial position to hire some employees.
“I just want to get the word out that we are here and are ready to buy your videos, games and stuff,” David said.
Sell It Again Video and Games hours are seven days from 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.
