SAYBROOK TOWNSHIP — SAYBROOK TOWNSHIP — Lakeside High School students were released at 11:30 a.m. Friday  after school officials discovered “non-specific scribbling” on a bathroom stall, Superintendent Patrick Colucci said.

The words could be interpreted as a threat, Colucci said.

“I’m taking every precaution,” he said. “I’m not taking this lightly, I want everybody to be safe.”

Ashtabula County Sheriff’s Department and the Ohio State Highway Patrol were on the scene.
