• Shawn A. Ballou, 52, 4706 E. 104th St., Cleveland, appeared Nov. 18 for his sentencing hearing on the previous conviction of driving while under the influence, a third-degree felony. He was sentenced to 26 months in prison with 133 days jail time credited and his driver’s license was suspended for five years.

• Jesse L. Beckett, 24, 4566 Ayers Road, Andover, was sentenced Nov. 20 to two years of community control under the terms of intervention in lieu of conviction. Beckett must pay the court costs.

• Tonya A. Clausen, 36, 202 W. Main Road, Conneaut, was sentenced Nov. 20 to two years of community control under the terms of intervention in lieu of conviction. She must pay the court costs.

• Charles E. Williams, 21, 414 W. 29th St. Downstairs, Ashtabula, pleaded not guilty Nov. 21 to two counts of felonious assault. His bond was continued at $25,000.

• William A. Mabus, 45, 1217 Morton Dr., Ashtabula, pleaded not guilty Nov. 21 to the charge of domestic violence. His bond was set at $10,000.

• Bruce Saunders, 40, 4062 Maple Road, Ashtabula, pleaded not guilty Nov. 21 to the charge of failure to comply. His bond was continued at $10,000.

• Shaun L. Bennett, 40, 4026 Cleveland Ave., Ashtabula, pleaded not guilty Nov. 21 to the charge of complicity to receiving stolen property. His bond was continued at $5,000.

• William A. Puthoff, 47, 1229 W. 9th St., Ashtabula, pleaded not guilty Nov. 21 to the charges of felonious assault and attempted vehicular assault. His bond was continued at $20,000.

• Reginald D. Walker, 53, 3618 Burton Ave., Erie, Pa., pleaded not guilty Nov. 21 to the charges of aggravated trafficking in drugs and possession of drugs. His bond was continued at $20,000.

• Ashley A. Hale, 26, 5303 Middle Road, Conneaut, was sentenced Nov. 21 to one year of rehabilitation under the terms of intervention in lieu of conviction. She must pay the court costs.

• Michael A. Church, 18, 5123 S. Ridge Road E., Ashtabula, pleaded guilty Nov. 21 to three counts of receiving stolen property and to the charge of complicity to commit theft, all fourth-degree felonies. A pre-sentence investigation was ordered by the court and his bond was continued at $5,000.
